Compatibility of Rightline Car Clips Used With 1-1/2 Inch Straps

Question:
Will these clips fit a 1.5inch wide strap? I dont have a RightLine bag, but I could use clips like these on another product which has 1.5inch wide straps.

I measured one of the roof rack straps for a Rightline Gear Cargo Hatch Saddlebag, # RL100B90, that fits the strap clips # RL100605, that you referenced. The strap measured 2 inches wide.
The clip has to be large enough to fit a 2 inch strap, therefore, a 1-1/2 in strap will fit in the clip.
The clips are large, with a hook opening of 5/8 of an inch wide.
