Replacement Motor & Fan Blade for Ventline Single Speed Range Hood PI-1
Question:
I have a range hood motor that is single speed with light kit switch in a Ventline Range Hood model PI-1. Can I wire this one model BVD0278-00 as a single speed or do I used the Ventline bathroom model BCD0314-00 100CFM replacement motor. Also, the 6 1/2inch three blade replacement is a exact fit. Thanks.

My contact at Ventline advised that the replacement fan motor and fan blade parts you need for your model PI-1 range hood are # BVD0278-00 and # BCD0311-00.
Part # BVD0278-00 is the 2-speed motor used in current production. Instructions for wiring this 2-speed motor as a single speed are included with the motor; I confirmed this with my contact at Ventline.

Being that a 2 speed motor is the only replacement available, is there a 2 speed fan switch available to utilize having 2 speeds?
