How Much of Draw Tite Hitch for 2016/2017 Ford Edge is Visible Below Bumper

Question:

Your photos for this car show the hitch receiver ping below the rear bumper fascia. Can a different hitch without the be carefully cut-in through the plastic fascia? This would look more factory similar to Explorer if done properly.

All of the hitches for the 2016/2017 Ford Edge will have just the hitch opening hanging below the rear fascia like the Draw Tite # 75234 which is confirmed as a fit and would be a great choice. Considering that most hitches have quite a bit more visible than just the opening this is still a great option for a mostly hidden trailer hitch.
