looking for a wench/hoist with the capacity to hold about 70 ft of cable.. what is out there I can consider.

We do have a winch that works with cable and may workk great for you.
I recommend the Fulton High-Performance 2-Speed Trailer Winch, part # DL15103. This winch can hold up to 79-ft of 3/16-inch wire cable and it has a 1,100-lb capacity.
