What Is The Dimension Of The BackFlip MX4 When Folded Up On A 2017 F-250 6-3/4 Foot Bed?

Question:

Looking at a Backflip MX4 for my 6foot 9inch short bed 2017 F250 Super Duty. Is it a tri-fold or a quad-fold? Im interested in using it with a fifth wheel hitch. I want to fold it back, but not to the fully flipped up position where I cant see to back up. Can you also tell me the depth of the cover when folded over on itself where all of the other panels are resting on the panel closest to the cab?

The BAKFlip MX4 Hard Tonneau Cover - Folding - Aluminum - Matte Finish, # BAK48330, is a quad-fold cover.

I reached out to my contact at BAK industries and for your 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty with 6-3/4 foot bed, the depth of all the folds together is 3-4 inches. Each panel is 1/2 inch thick but there are also the support rails. They were unable to give me the dimension exactly for this specific cover when resting on the panel closest to the cab, but that would remove a 1/2 inch. This cover does have clips in that position that will allow you to drive with the cover secured utilizing those two clips and two rail latches. I've attached the installation details for you.
