Are your wheel / tire combo balanced? Thank you

Helpful Expert Reply:
The trailer wheel/tire combination items we offer come from the distributor already joined together. These do not receive a full dynamic balancing the way new passenger tires do but this is not really needed for trailer tires. When mounted together, the distributor matches up the tire's low spot to the wheel's high spot. This avoids any serious out-of-balance condition and results in perfectly safe operation for trailering use.
If you have access to a shop with the correct equipment you COULD have your trailer tires dynamically balanced. This would certainly be a good thing but it is not required.
Keys to longer trailer tire life are avoiding overloading the tire beyond it rated weight capacity and ensuring that the tires are always inflated to their maximum rated cold psi pressure as noted on the tire sidewall. It is never appropriate to under- or over-inflate a trailer tire.
