How Does Bolt Locking Hitch Pin # BL7025285 Key to 2016 Ford Escape

Question:

on the Bolt trailer hitch lock how do i key it to my 2016 Ford Escape key? Do I have to bring it to a lock smith? or is it generic and fit any ford?

As long as your key looks like one of the ones in the attached picture the # BL7025285 will easily key to it. Basically all you have to do is insert your key into the lock, turn it all the way and the lock is forever keyed to your vehicle's key.
