Question:
Is the D13614 transmission cooler a good choice for my 1995 Ford F-250 regular cab, 2 wheel drive with Turbo 7.3 L Diesel Powerstoke engine with automatic transmission with overdrive? It has a small cooler in front of the radiator now. Do I need to buy any extra adapters to install this new cooler? Should I just replace the old cooler with the new one or run them in series? After new transmission cooler is installed do you think the bigger transmission cooling pan would benefit enough for the extra price and is it really needed? I pull a 1987 28 foot Prowler Fifth Wheel. I have 90,000 miles on my truck.

The Derale Transmission Cooler, part # D13614 is designed to work with your 1995 F-250 with the 7,3L diesel.
Since you said you have a small cooler already I recommend running the fluid through the cooler you have and then through the # D13614, and then through the radiator. This would be the optimal way to cool your fluid.
To make it much easier to install the hoses it is recommended to use part # D13024 if you have 1/2-inch-20 threads. If you have 1/4 or 3/8 inch NPT-trans-line fittings you can use part # D13014. This eliminates the need for flaring or cutting lines.
Since the pan is an added expense I recommend testing the system with the # D13614 first before installing the # D14208, although you cannot cool the fluids enough, especially when towing.
