Question:
Hi, Is it possible to use this as a home security flood light, maybe add a motion sensor? What parts would I need and what steps to take. Would it work electrically? Thanks

The MaxxTow Off-Road Light Bar # MT80636 runs off of 9 to 32 volt electrical systems (DC power) so it is not a good option for a house which uses AC power at a much higher voltage.
A better option is Tow Rax light # TWSPRLB2L. This is an LED light that runs off of 110 to 130 volts AC power. For a light like this it has a power and ground wire so you would hook up a motion sensor, obtained locally, in line with the power wire.
