can this plow be mounted on my truck when traveling on public roads?

It's not illegal to have the K2 Snow Plow part # K2STOR8422 installed on your truck when traveling on public roads but you would need to be aware that your front license plate may be obstructed as well as your head lights. As far as where you can legally plow that would be a question you would need to ask your local DOT.
