Question:

Hello ~ I just purchased a 2016 Kia Soul with a Panoramic Sunroof. I really want to be able to carry my kayak with this car. Is there a Rack that will work with the sunroof - or is there another solution you could recommend to me?

I may have a solution for you, however we do not offer a roof rack for your 2016 Kia Soul that will fit with the panoramic sunroof.

Another option is to add a trailer hitch receiver, like the Draw-Tite Class I Sport Frame # 24915, a ball mount # 3593, and hitch ball # 63845. You may need a ball mount with a larger rise than that so I've linked our most popular fits for your Soul.

This will give you ability to tow a trailer like the Yakima Rack and Roll # Y08106. The Rand and Roll is basically a pull-behind roof rack with 66 inch cross bars.

Then you'll need a kayak carrier such as the SportRack J-Style # SR5511 which will mount onto the round bars of the Rack and Roll.
