Question:

I need a hitch that can hold a trailer or cage for my sons wheelchair, it is not electric. I see class 1- 1 1/4 however many of the trailer/cages are a different class and say 2. Is there a 2 class for the Kia Soul 2017?

There are trailer hitch mounted cargo carriers that will fit the Class I, 1-1/4 inch trailer hitches, such as # 24915, for your 2017 Kia Soul. There are no higher Class hitches for the vehicle though.

I recommend 20x48 Curt Cargo Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Steel - 300 lbs Item # C18110 because it has a rise in the shank for better ground clearance. I have linked a video review of this carrier for you.
