Will RodBuckle Retractable Fishing Rod Tie-Down Strap Fit a 2003 Bass Tracker 175

Question:
We started to install these straps but backed out. Will this work on a 2003 Bass Tracker 175? This is an all aluminum boat, as you probably know. Im afraid the carpet is glued right on top of the aluminum and we would cut right through.

The RodBuckle # IMF14200 is not boat-specific so you can use it on just about any boat. To determine if installation is something you want to do on your boat I recommend looking over the instructions, linked for reference, to see if installation is something you want to try on your particular boat.
If the hull or gunwale area of the boat is a single wall then it would not be a good option but I do not believe that your boat was designed that way and it should work great.
Another option is to go with something a little more simple such as # IMF15433 which will just screw down to the deck and not require a larger hole in the gunwale.
