Updated 10/12/2016 | Published 10/11/2016 >
Question:
Looking to replace my motor and switch on my landing gear. May need to replace my gearbox also since it seems to be torquing a lot when it does operate. I have a new battery installed now. What components do you recommend?

Some landing gear replacement parts are interchangeable between brands but it is still best to identify the maker of your landing gear and if possible the part number as this will help in selecting replacement parts. The motor/switch kit # LC217884 that you referenced is from Lippert, who makes many of the landing gear set-ups for 5th wheels, and some OEM items that may be sold under different brand names such as Venture.
I linked our main page for landing gear replacement parts. If you click on gearboxes, for instance, you will be able to view all such replacement assemblies for the brands we support.
In case you prefer to replace the entire system I also include a link to our page for new electric landing gear.
