It sounds like you have Roadmaster motorhome-mounted tow bar and need compatible base plates for your 2011 Ford Escape. The two Roadmaster base plate kits we have for your Escape, kits # 4414-3 and # 4414-1, use a hitch-pin attachment system for securing their draw bars. The Blue Ox base plates # BX2605 use the twist-lock type. These three base plate products are shown on the linked page.
Safe and legal flat towing requires a number of components in addition to the tow bar and base plates. These other items are covered in the linked articles and include safety cables, a wiring/lighting kit of some type, a high/low hitch adapter to keep the tow bar level and a braking system for the towed car.
For safety cables I suggest the coiled type since they do not tend to drag on the ground, part # RM-643. The easiest kind of lighting kit is a magnetic type such as # TL21RK which does NOT require you to cut into the Escape's wiring. For a braking system use part # BRK2012 from Blue Ox. This is a fully portable and wireless system for simple installation. For a high/low adapter refer to the linked article to information about how to choose the correct one.
