Question regarding part # RVPL7CB - RV Porch light. When installing this to the exterior wall of an RV what is the manufacturers recommendations for sealing the light to the RV wall?

The Optronics RV Porch and Utility Light # RVPL7CB has a full-size metal backing plate that will protect the internal electrical components from moisture but if you like you certainly can use a thin bead of silicone rubber sealant like # LT37464 (grey), # LT37467 (black) or # 0160297 (white) around the perimeter of the base to provide additional protection. Hardware stores usually carry a range of color options including clear silicone.
