I have a tailgate assist that is a fit for your 1995 Chevy Silverado, but the DeeZee part # DZ43100 is not a confirmed fit.
Instead you would want the part # 74211 which is a confirmed fit for your truck and actually would be a better option. It makes the tailgate feel much lighter whereas the DeeZee only slows it down as you are lowering it.
