Guys and Gal, I want to mount a set of these racks on the roof of my 2009 VW Rabbit hatchback 2dr. Will they interfere with the operation of the moonroof?

If the moonroof angles up when opening there is a chance the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack would interfere with that. But more importantly you aren't going to want to open the moonroof when the rack is installed. The windnoise will be pretty intense so most likely you are going to want to keep it closed.
For your 2009 VW Rabbit hatchback, I recommend the Rhino-Rack roof rack consisting of crossbars # RRVA118B-2, feet # RRRLKVA, and custom fit kit # DK064.
