Kayak Carrier and Roof Rack Recommendation for a 2011 Buick Regal

Question:

I have a 2011 Buick Regal with a curved roof with a sunroof and the antenna in the back part of the roof. What type of Kayak carrier it is a 14 foot Recreactional Eddyline would fit best. I would like a side loader if possible or a roll bar for loading and unloading. I do not want a permanant installation. Thank you,

First you will need to start with a roof rack for your 2011 Buick Regal. For that I would recommend the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack that consists of part numbers # RRVA118B-2, # RRRLKVA, and # DK296.

Once that is complete an assisted kayak carrier like the Thule Hullavator part # TH898 would be your best choice. This is an assisted, side-loading kayak carrier that would make loading and transporting your kayaks very easy. For the Hullavator system I recommend getting longer bars # RRVA126B-2 instead so you have more bar overhanging the towers/feet because that is required for that system.
