SU3842 WILL WORK FOR MY TRUCK? ALSO WILL i NEED TO CHANGE THERMOSTAT

For your 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 we have a Superchips programmer listed as a fit but the part number you mentioned is no longer available.
What you would want is the part # SU4845 which can give your truck up to 18 horsepower and 30 ft lbs of torque. No thermostat change is require either.
