Will Thule Gateway Pro Trunk-Mounted 3-Bike Carrier Fit 2014 Fiat 500L

Question:

Im seriously looking for a fit for a 3-4 bike carrier for my 2014 Fiat 500L vehicle. Ive already returned a carrier that was not a good fit. Im seriously looking at the Thule Gateway Pro 3-bike carrier. It may not be a FIT for my vehicle, but do you think it could worK? Please respond as soon as possible. If you say its not a fit, can you explain why?

I called my contact at Thule and they verified the Gateway Pro 3-Bike Rack, part # TH78VR is a fit for your 500L. When installing the carrier you will use the FitDial system setting of 10 for a good fit on your car.

For another great bike carrier I recommend the Thule OutWay 3-Bike Rack, part # TH56BV. This is one of our best bike carriers because it uses only 2 retractable coated steel cables with hooks to hold the bike carrier. Most trunk mount carriers use 6 straps, normally made of nylon. This carrier also features the One-Key lock system to secure the rack and bikes to your Fiat.

If you are planning on carrying bikes with alternative frames like kids bikes or women's bikes I recommend using an adapter bar like part # 64005. This attaches between the seat post and the handlebar stem and allows the bike to be carried more level in the carrier while providing additional ground clearance.
