Question:
There is a plug under the bumper currently. We both know that is terrible for a gooseneck. I want to drill and mount a new plug in the bed and hopefully have it plug directly into factory wiring. I just bought this truck last week so it's new to me. Like I said my trailers have the old style metal housing 7 pin round plug.

It sounds like your 2005 Ford Super Duty was outfitted with the 7-way blade system which is the most common in the market today.
To adapt your 7-way blade to a 7-pole round for your trailer, I recommend the Pollack # PK12728. This 7-pole connector is prewired to simply plug into your truck's 7-way plug. It has the # PK11720 connector you referenced but is pre-wired like you are desiring.
A great mounting bracket for the # PK12728 is the # PK11771.
I have linked all the above mentioned products to this page for your viewing and purchasing convenience.
