Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Recommendation for 2014 Toyota RAV4 with Spoiler

I read that the 910XT will fit the 14 Rav 4, but the video does not show this model. My car has a spoiler and I cant see how the straps wont bend and break the spoiler. When I go on Thules site, they recommend a different model that cost more. Just wondered what your thought is.

What I would recommend for your 2014 Toyota RAV4 that has a factory spoiler is the Saris Bones EX 2 Bike Rack - Adjustable Arms - Trunk Mount # SAR83FR that is specifically designed to fit vehicles with spoilers like yours. I attached an install video that shows this rack being installed on a similar 2017 RAV4 as yours as well.
If you plan on carrying any womens or alternative framed bikes without horizontal top tubes you may also be interested in purchasing a Kuat Bike Frame Adapter Bar # UB01 to provide a horizontal top tube on your bikes to provide an attachment point. I attached a review video for this product also. This will allow the bikes to be carried more level and will provide more ground clearance.
