Question:

Hi, I am looking for a transmission cooler for a 2007 Chevy Suburban with the 5.3L V8. On the site, I only see listings for the 6.0L V8 - do you carry anything for the 5.3? Thanks!

On your 2007 Chevy Suburban with the 5.3L V8 you can install any transmission cooler that can fit in the available space in front of the A/C condenser. This is the best location to mount one. Coolers are not vehicle-specific so any cooler for which you have sufficient mounting space can be installed so long as the transmission has external lines to allow you to tap into the system.

Larger coolers work better than smaller ones so a unit like the efficient Class IV Derale # D13504 along with the hose fitting kit # D13035 will be an excellent way to lower your transmission's operating temperature to extend its life.
