Question:
I am considering installing these roller guides on my Paddle King pontoon boat trailer. The trailer is a lightweight build and carries my 13foot pontoon boat. The trailer frame construction is mostly 2inch x 2. #1 question is will the standard u-bolts that come with this kit work with these smaller frame rails. #2 Question is: Due to the trailer construction. I will need to attach the rollers to the rear frame crossmember. The distance from the outermost point of attachment of the roller bracket to the frame is about 10inch from where the roller bracket begins to angle upward. Would I need to attach a second u-bolt towards the other end of the roller bracket to give added stability when loading? Also, if a second u-bolt is advisable do you offer this product separately. Thanks. Tom

The CE Smith Roller-Style Guide-Ons # CE27610 will fit your 2 x 2-inch trailer frame. The standard included brackets work with frame members up to 3-inches wide and 4-1/4-inches tall. It is a good idea to add another u-bolt to each guide-on in your application.
I linked our main page for trailer u-bolts where you can see items like CE Smith U-Bolt Kit # CE23103 and # UBZC12X212X525.
