Blue Ox AutoStop Supplemental Braking System - Aventa LX - Proportional - 7,500 lbs Can you tell me if this works on 2003 LandRover Discovery II? Im considering a Blue Ox bx7445 Aventa LX tow bar

The AutoStop braking systems can be used on several vehicles as long as they are using the correct corresponding tow bar. That being said, our installers here are not big fans of the AutoStops at all. I can't recommend them for you as I don't think it will work very well for you. The common complaint is that it's difficult to install and doesn't offer much braking performance.
The easiest system to set up and use is the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR, that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles. This system would be an excellent option that I know will work well for you.
