Helpful Expert Reply:
The Curt Custom Wiring Adapter # C51312 is correct for you 1992 Ford F-350 if your truck has the factory installed tow package. If it does not, then you will need the Curt Universal Wiring Adapter # C51515. You will also need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way and 4-Way Flat # ETBC7 and the Curt T-Connector Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Connector # C55316 if you do not have the tow package.
I have included video reviews of each wiring adapter for you to take a look at, as well as an installation video of the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 7-Way and 4-Way Flat on a 1991 Ford F-150. The truck isn't exactly the same as yours but the installation is.
