Trailer Hitch Recommendation for a 2002 Toyota Avalon
Published 07/20/2016 >
Question:
I have a Hidden Hitch 90650 I bought from etrailer in 2005 for my 2002 Toyota Camry. I need to know if I can now move it onto a 2002 Toyota Avalon. Hidden Hitch apparently no longer makes the 90650 but has replaced it with the 90174 which fits both vehicles, and the Avalon is based on the Camry chassis. I see no reason why it would not fit.

I did some checking and it looks like the now discontinued Hidden Hitch 90650 only fit Avalons up to 2000 so it would not be a confirmed fit.
Instead you would want the Draw Tite hitch part # 36293 which is a confirmed fit. I attached an install video for you to check out as well.
