Video Transcript for Install: WeatherTech HP Front Auto Floor Mats on a 2023 Ford Bronco

Hi everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install these WeatherTech front HP floor mats on our 2023 Ford Bronco. This is gonna be a great custom fit upgrade to your floor mats that offer a nice weather resistant material and give you much more coverage in the Bronco. Let's check 'em out. Now right away, there's gonna be a couple things that help hold us in place.

We've got all of these grippy nibs on the bottom that'll bite into the carpet, and these two red circles are gonna utilize factory anchor points on the floor of the Bronco. When paired up with the custom fit nature of the mat, it's gonna be held in place really well, and it just drops right in. I'm gonna pull the old floor mat out 'cause one thing I do wanna show is how much more coverage you get. And when I lay this over the top, you can see just how much extra coverage we're getting. You'll see that once it's in the vehicle too, but our dead pedal and much further up underneath the gas and the brake are gonna be covered too, as well as these high sidewalls to keep moisture and dirt in.

We'll just feed this in over the seat. This material has a little bit of flex to it, enough to easily feed this in and push those anchor points down. And right away it's fitting perfectly over the door jamb here and around all of the floorboard. The passenger side is gonna install the exact same way. On this one, there's only one factory anchor point, but we'll push it in all the same.

And again, you can see that custom fit shape and it's really important on the Bronco 'cause there is this small lip on the floorboard right here. It's mirrored on the driver's side, but having something custom fit around those odd shapes is gonna result in a much better quality floor mat and keep things clean in your Bronco. The grooves on the mat and this basin underneath mean that anything wet, like maybe some melted snow or mud with water is going to drain out into this pool here, where we can clean it up much easier. And because the thermoplastic material here is a little more rubberized, it's got a bit of flex, it's very easy to get in and out of the Bronco. So if we need to do a heavier clean, we can just put it on the driveway, spray it down with the hose with some soapy water and it'll be good as new.

And with the carpet mat back in place, you're gonna see all the extra coverage we get up here where our passenger's feet are gonna be, all along the side walls where it's going to keep things from spilling over the sides of that carpet mat. It's all going to be contained now on the new WeatherTech one and back in this corner, where that weird ridge was. We're getting a whole extra bit of coverage here, and that's really all there is to it. The WeatherTech mats are gonna be a really big upgrade from the standard carpet mats that come with your Bronco. The coverage on these I was really unimpressed by, which made the WeatherTech ones just seem that much better. It's gonna protect your floors a lot more, and the material's gonna be very easy to clean and it's gonna be much more weather resistant. So I think it gives the Bronco a good look and it's gonna keep it clean for a long time.
