Could the Magnaflow Catalytic Converter MF94037 Be Installed in Reverse
Published 07/19/2016 >
Question:
Does it matter which way the exhaust flow goes? At Magnaflows web site they call the 2.5inch inlet, the 2inch outlet and the O2 port post cat. I need it to be the other way around so the O2 port is located pre cat

In general catalytic converters are not directional. Exhaust can flow either direction through them.
If you needed the exhaust same thing as the part # MF94037, but flowing in the opposite direction, this would work technically.
