Question:

Will the C55585 4-pole wiring harness kit work on a 2017 Honda Ridgeline? Are there any additional modifications required to assure that the vehicle lights function properly with and without the trailer connected?

I have a solution for your but when I spoke to my contact at Curt and he informed me that the 2017 Honda Ridgeline is a completely redesigned model from the 2014 to the 2017 and the # C55585 will not work.

While there currently is no custom wiring harness for the 2017 Honda Ridgeline, a great universal option, I recommend for you to install the ZCI wiring harness # 119250KIT. The ZCI harness will install a 4-way trailer connector on your vehicle without cutting or splicing into your wiring. Zero-contact interface sensors identify the current flowing through each wire by simply clamping onto it.
