I have a 2013 vw jsw tdi with pano sunroof and factory side rails. will this setup mount an older Thule weekends box without hurting the sunroof?

The Thule roof rack made from the SquareBars # TH712200 and Evo raised rail feet # TH710401 is designed to attach to the factory side rails on the 2013 Volkswagen Jetta SportWagen. It does not make contact with the panoramic roof at all. But with the roof rack in place it is recommended to not open the roof because it could make contact with the roof rack. Until you know how far the roof opens upward relative to the roof rack crossbars I advise removing the rack if you want to open the roof.
The hardware used to mount the old Thule Weekender cargo box will fit the square crossbars in this roof rack system.
