I looked up pictures of the mirrors you have on your 2016 Toyota 4Runner and they have enough of a gap on them to allow the CIPA mirrors part # CM11980 to install. However, the angle of the top of your mirror is pretty steep so this mirror would end up slightly lower than your current mirror as well. That shouldn't be an issue but I wanted to bring it to your attention.
