Since you are towing a travel trailer, I recommend using a weight distribution system to combat the rear end sag you are experiencing on your 2006 Cadillac Escalade. The weight distribution system works to distribute the trailer's tongue weight between the two axles of your Escalade, rather than a traditional hitch ball and ball mount that place all of the trailer's tongue weight on the back axle. Based on the information I found in the 2006 Escalade owner's manual, Cadillac recommend the use of a weight distribution system with your vehicle when the trailer weighs over 5,000 pounds.

Since your Escalade has the built-in, automatic leveling system, adding an additional aftermarket suspension system will not yield much of a result for you. The weight distribution system will provide the best overall result to your towing set-up and ride quality while towing.

When choosing a weight distribution system, you will want to do so based on the loaded and ready to tow tongue weight of your trailer. To the trailer's tongue weight, you will also want to add the weight of any cargo or passengers carried behind the rear axle of the Escalade. For example, if your trailer weights 7,000 pounds and your loaded and ready to tow tongue weigh is 800 pounds, then a system such as the Equal-I-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37100ET will work great for you.
