Fifth Wheel Rail Kit Recommendation for 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 and 2014 GMC Sierra 1500
Question:
I have two trucks pulling the same trailer one is a2002 cheve z71 6foot 6 box and the other is a 2014 gmc 58 box and I have a curtq16 slider what do I need to do to use the same hitch for both trucks thanks

You will have to install a fifth wheel rail kit in both of your trucks to use your Curt Q16 slider hitch # C16521.
For the 2002 Chevy Silverado 1500 you would want the # RP50064-58 which is a custom install rail kit for your truck. For your 2014 GMC the same # RP50064-58 is a fit as well so you would need to order a quantity of two of these rail kits.
Now since the 2014 has a truck bed that is shorter than 6 feet your Curt hitch is not going to provide enough clearance to make tight turns. Because of that you would need to go with a slider hitch like the Demco Hijacker part # DM8550040 which will automatically slide 22-1/2 inches.
