Tips for Installing New Foam Pad # HRSPR-FP on a Bike Rack

Question:
How do I remove the old foam? How do I install the new foam? In the past on motorcycle handgrips i have sprayed the handles with hairspray, which allowed the rubber or foam grips to slide on and locked them in place once the spray dried. Whats the recommended technique with these foam pads?

Actually you can use the same technique with the hairspray to install the new foam, # HRSPR-FP, on your bike rack. Removing the old foam may require cutting it off because it can be physically difficult to work the foam off by hand.
Once you have the old foam off be sure to clean the area for the new foam with some rubbing alcohol. Once clean and dry you can use the hairspray method to work on the new foam.
