Trailer wiring harness # 119250KIT is a universal wiring harness. It attaches without splicing into your current wiring. You could technically wire it up to anything. But it hasn't been tested on a 2014 Subaru XV Crosstrek hybrid. There is a harness that plugs in line with the tail light wiring on the Hybrid models. It is # C56243 from Curt.
