Recommended Wheel and Tire for a Trailer to Replace a P235/75R15 on 6 Lug Wheel

Question:

I need to replace wheels and tires on a stock trailer. what is on it now is P235 /75R15, the wheel is a 6 bolt pattern with 2 3/4 inch between bolts. what would be a suggestion for replacing 4. thanks.

The size tire you listed is a passenger vehicle tire so you are absolutely on the right track by replacing them since P rated tires cannot be used on trailers.

The closest tire size is the ST225/75R15. For a tire in that size on the same wheel size you have with the bolt pattern you need I would recommend the # TA57VR. The reason I recommend this wheel and tire is mainly because the tire on it has a higher speed rating at 81 mph whereas many other tires are only rated for 65 mph.
