Question:
Can I use this hitch or do I need the 13k Demco with 22 inch slide? I am close to the RAWR so I need to know total installed weight of each of these Demco hitches.

For your 2014 Ford F-150 with 5-1/2 foot bed, the only sliding hitch that will work for you to be able to have the proper turning clearance is the Demco Hijacker Autoslide, 13K, Under Bed # DM8550041. The underbed rail kit for this hitch is the one you referenced, # DM8551001.
You are correct that the Hijacker Autoslide 13K # DM8550041 will offer you 22 inches of travel. The 18K Hijacker Autoslide you referenced will only provide 14 inches of travel, which is not likely to provide you with enough additional clearance to complete tight turns.
Once installed, the underbed rails will add approximately 70 pounds to your truck, and the Hijacker Autoslide will add around 315 pounds. Unfortunately, we do not have an exact installed weight for the system, so the best weight I can provide for you is an approximate total weight of 385 pounds for the hitch and the rails.
Another option to tow a 5th wheel with your 5-1/2 foot bed is to use a fixed 5th wheel hitch hitch and install a Sidewinder pin box on your trailer. For a fixed 5th wheel hitch that will install in an underbed rail, you can use the Reese M5 Series 5th Wheel Hitch # RP30921 and the Under-Bed Rail and Installation Kit # RP30064. This set-up will come in at a much lower weight, approximately 200 pounds total.
If you decide to go with a fixed 5th wheel hitch and need a Sidewinder pin box to replace your existing pin box, I'll be happy to make a recommendation for you. I would need to know your existing pin box's manufacturer and model number in order to determine the correct replacement Sidewinder.
