Question:
My motorhome has a factory 7 pin connector on the back bumper and I want to add a brake controller. Is this a good model to use?

To be honest I am not a fan of the time-delayed brake controllers. Since you set the braking intensity before driving you may run into a situation where it is applied too aggressively or not aggressive enough. I prefer a proportional brake controller like the P2, part # 90885.
The P2, part # 90885 applies the brakes in direct proportion to the intensity of the braking action in the RV. I have attached links to a couple helpful articles about brake controllers and installation you can check out.
