Would the Derale Transmission Cooler part # D12901 be Adequate for 2007 Honda Odyssey Towing Pop Up
Published 05/05/2016 >
Question:
Hey, I ordered the #D12901 for my 2007 Honda Odyssey EX-L. I was just looking for the installation instructions when I found that it is rated for a 2000lb gross trailer weight. The pop-up I just bought is 2105 lb dry and there are 5 of us! Will this model be sufficient or should I send it back and trade it in for a larger one? If so, which one would be best? Thanks,

Expert Reply:
Transmission coolers like the part # D12901 don't really have weight ratings. We put them in classifications based on size and the general cooling efficiency they would have. The part # D12901 would work just as good towing a 2,000 lb trailer as a 2,100 lb trailer.
This will work just fine on your 2007 Honda Odyssey.
