Why Would Nutsert Pop Out of Tailgate After DeeZee Tailgate Assist Install

Question:
I just installed this last night and the bolt that goes on my tailgate bent and popped out soon as I let the tailgate down I tried to use Teflon tape but it seems as if something is wrong with the inside part thats attached now to my tailgate ..... Should I buy parts kit and try again?

Looks like you overtightened the nutsert which stripped it out and rendered it unusable.
You would need to order the part # BKT43301 and be careful not to strip out the new nutsert.
