The Optronics Clearance and Side Marker Light, part # MCL86AB is sealed and considered weathertight, but is not submersible. Its design is to protect it from the elements like rain and snow and dirt.
I recommend a clearance light like part # MCL85AB. These lights have a sealed lens and housing and can be submersed. This light has an amber lens and 3 LEDs. This light has one wire for power and is grounded with the mounting hardware.
