Does the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5G Cause a Rough Ride

Question:

Could you elaborate on the ride and handling issues ? I have a hide a ball already on my truck and like the feature for truck bed utilization. I would prefer to not go with the expense of a 5th wheel hitch but would always go with the hitch that provides safe handling and stable ride. Thank you, 2001 Chevy Duramax 2500

I wouldn't say that the Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter # CAB-C5G actually does cause a harsher ride than a standard fifth wheel hitch. Compared to some fifth wheel hitches this would have a smoother ride quality due to the cushioning of the unit and the tight fit the adapter has to the gooseneck ball when compare to some fifth wheel hitches that have sloppy jaw designs that allow for a great deal of chucking.

We have a ton of reviews on this adapter and I couldn't find a single one that says the ride quality was rough.
