Can a Propane Tank be Carried in a Trailer A-Frame Mounted Toolbox

Question:

Can I store my propane tank and battery for my TAB trailer in your enclosed tool type box. Currently my trailers box has an open bottom in case anything would leak. Thank you

No, you would not place a propane tank in something that does not get a lot of ventilation like a toolbox. Also it is possible that the inside of the box will get too hot. Propane tanks have a vent that will release pressure if the pressure in the tank gets too high which could have negative consequences. If it were me I would not put the tank in a toolbox. I would instead use a propane tank cover. We have several options and I have included a link to them for you.

The toolbox can be used for the battery though. Or we have other battery box options. I have included a link to them for you.
