Trailer Connector Recommendations for 2013 Nissan Pathfinder

We have a 2013 Nissan Pathfinder sv without a factory tow package. We had a hitch installed at the dealer but it didnt come with the vehicle. We need to install the wiring for trailer light hookup but arent exactly sure what to buy. Could you send me the item number and any other info regarding what we need? Thanks so much.

The trailer wiring kit you need will depend on what kind of trailer you're wanting to tow and what kind of trailer connector it has. For a smaller trailer that doesn't have brakes and uses a 4-pole trailer connector, the # 118670 would work great.
If your trailer has a 7-way trailer connector I'd recommend the # 118273 which is compatible with vehicles with or without the tow package. If the trailer has brakes, you'll need a brake controller to actuate them. For a simple electric braking system, the # TK63VR would be a budget priced but effective option. You'd also need the # 3050-P Brake Controller Wiring Harness to connect the brake controller to the connector under the dash, which is located near the top of the emergency brake pedal.
