Published 08/20/2010 >
Question:
I purchased these MCL17RB lights. They look great and will fit my needs but my question is which lead is power and which is ground? Both leads are red in color? Does it matter?

Expert Reply:
The item you selected, LED Marker Clearance ID Light, part # MCL17RB, can use either wire as the ground or power wire. Each wire goes to the diode in the LED, so it does not matter which wire is the ground wire or power wire.
