I am looking for a 7 way trailer wiring for a 2008 Santa Fe. I want to pull a small 2500lbs travel trailer. The trailer does have breaks and I will need a break controller also.

If you have no trailer connector on your Santa Fe, I first recommend a T-One connector like part # 118258. You will find the vehicle connector under the vehicles at the rear on the driver side. It should be between the wheel well and the bumper. Just plug in the harness, insert the included fuse in the fuse holder and that's it.
For a brake controller I recommend the P2, part # 90885. This is one of our most popular brake controllers because it is easy to install and operate. To complete the installation of the brake controller you will need a 7-way brake controller install kit # ETBC7. I have attached a link to an installation video for a the # ETBC7 on a 2012 Santa Fe. It is a different year but the installation will be the same.
When working with electrical connectors I recommend using dielectric grease like part # 11755. This keeps dirt and moisture out of the electrical connections and helps prevent corrosion.
