According to my research the Golf Wagon was a Canada released Volkswagen model between 2010-2014.
The following rear mounted bike racks will be a fit for your 2012 Golf Wagon:

# TH45JV
# TH56BV
All of the racks will include locks and allow you to lock your bike to the rack as well as the rack to the vehicle.
If you happen to have an alternative framed bike like many women's bikes do then you will need the use of an adapter bar like # TH982XT for the bikes to mount properly.
