Question:
I have an OEM trailer hitch and harness on my 2011 MDX, along with the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Trailer Brake Controller with Tekonsha 3070-P Brake Control Wiring Adapter for Honda fits the MDX too. I purchased the Tekonsha 7-Way Trailer Emulator Blade Style Connector to verify proper functionality, but the 12V LED is not lit when the emulator is connected to the tow vehicle. All fuses for the tow harness are in tact, and the harness ground lug appears to be adequately secured to the defined ground location.

Sounds like the 12 volt accessory circuit of the 7-way on your 2011 Acura MDX is not ran. Is there wire ran to the back of the pin that carries this circuit? This will be the 1:00 position on the 7-way as you look at it from the front.
Most likely you will need to run the wire for this circuit. You would need 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) and a breaker part # 9510 to complete this circuit.
